Paint the city

Pick a tile below, then drag to paint. Small blocks fill up and snap in whole; big open land is painted freely and snaps to roads and neighbours. Zoom in for finer control.

Red spikes mark places where the map disagrees with itself. Paint over one to settle it. Parks, school grounds, cemeteries and other land the palette doesn't offer can't be painted: click where one disagrees to keep it. A pulsing building doesn't match the land it stands on. An amber ! marks land tagged without its landuse, and a ? on land a named housing complex whose kind of housing nobody has said. A named complex is painted whole.

Hatched buildings are guesses: the editor thinks it can tell a house from a terrace by the walls it shares. Brush over them with Agree to accept. A building with a ? could be several things: switch the brush to buildings, pick a tile and click it.

Everything works with the mouse alone. Keys are shortcuts.
